Our ultimate stereo codec for broadcasters who prefer standardized designs and those desiring a simple stereo connection. It is an economical and capable model. With our extensive MAYAH Web Remote 4.1 and its easily accessible phone book, reaching studios, voice talents or radio stations is simple. The most important broadcast codec algorithms are included in the base version, from G.711, G.722 to Opus, MPEG Layer 2, 3 and linear audio. Additionally, AAC, AAC HE, aptX, EaptX and ADPCM4SB/MICDA can be implemented as well.

The C10 is the successor to all MAYAH IPC11x0 codecs. 3rd party products can easily be connected with our advanced EBU Tech3326 support. It also features MAYAH FlashCast which offers the best jitter buffer, FEC, concealment and automatic quality adjustment implementation

    Backup
    Backup options can be configured within one network or cross network, e.g. from IP to IP, from IP to ISDN, etc. depending on the available network interface cards.

    Gateway
    Gateway functions allow the bridging of formats and interfaces, depending on availability of algorithms and network interface cards, e.g. from an 2x64kbps Layer 3 ISDN call into an Axia Livewire IP protocol

    Simple Answering machine
    Incoming calls can be recorded in different formats and kept on internal or external storage media, including SSD cards. They can also be send to external servers and disk capacities via FTP. The recorded signal can be incoming, outgoing or both.

    Logging
    Time logging is available as well, as an extension of the answering machine. Time stamps and further metadata archiving is as simple to admin as the audio format and storage organization.

    Multi-SIP
    Audio connections via IP are moving more and more to SIP as SIP servers are becoming more available. Multi SIP allows use of a variety of SIP servers within one product, e.g. 2 transmissions via SIP server 1, 4 transmissions via SIP server 2, etc.

    Combination of applications and extensive applications packages
    The C10 can combine the above mentioned applications and do backup, gateway and recording/logging at the same time.

    PLEC - Packet Loss Error Concealment
    Real-time audio data streamed over unreliable IP networks, such as the Internet, may encounter losses due to dropped packets or late arrivals. PLEC detects and prevents dropped packets.

    Voice Options (Echo Cancellation)
    Voice options on MAYAH codecs include noise suppression, acoustic echo control, and automatic gain control. The C10 can combine the above mentioned applications and do backup, gateway and recording/logging at the same time.

    FEC - Forward Error Correction
    Line failures? Bit errors? No problem with the Pro MPEG FEC and its flexible settings for redundancy and performance.

    PLEC - Packet Loss Error Concealment
    Works without FEC optimizing the trade-off between buffer, bandwidth and redundancy. PLEC allows almost no buffer by maintaining high audio quality.

    Dual IP, offers two mono encode/decode
    You can split the device into two independent mono units, establishing two bidirectional mono connections via IP, instead of one bidirectional stereo connection.

    2-Channel Audio
    The C10 has 2 audio channels.

    Intercom Audio Mode
    This unique intercom capability allows commentators to communicate with an additional person on-site by simply pushing a button.

    Dual Reporter Mode
    This mode allows users to send an audio transmission to up to 2 targets through one channel.

    Multichannel WebRemote 4.1 2015
    Based on the very powerful but easy to use WR 4.1 2015, the new multichannel web remote control offers easy operation of multiple channels.

    Automatic Recovery
    After a line failure an automatic backup is used, which is supported by many MAYAH Audio Codecs. It is important that after everything is set back to normal, an automatic recovery to the original settings and lines is possible.

    Silence Detection
    The monitoring, logging or automatic backup of the audio signal can be controlled in terms of duration and level.

    IP Backup
    You can split the device into two independent mono units, establishing two bidirectional mono connections via IP ISDN, instead of one bidirectional stereo via IP ISDN.

    Redundant Audio Streaming
    MAYAH supports redundant streaming for more stable and secure audio transmission. Two Ethernet ports are available to simultaneously output identical packets to the network or even to different networks. At the decoding side a control analysis determines the best stream and uses this for the decoding process.

    Audio Signal Detection
    MAYAH codecs possess highly sophisticated automatic analysis and parameter setting mechanisms. These make it easy to detect any problems with the signal or transmission.

    SIP+ for enhanced usage of SIP
    Simply register your MAYAH Codec at MAYAH FULL-SIP Server and be compatible with every other SIP Device and use features like ICE (Interactive Connectivity Establishment), FEC (Forward Error Correction) and Interconnect which enables connection without a STUN Server.

    Multiple Unicast
    Easy unicast stream from one encoder to up to 11 remote locations. Good distribution alternative in networks without multicast support.

    BGAN & KA Sat
    All MAYAH Audio Codecs provide APN & Login Support for QoS on BGAN/Inmarsat connections. The most secure Audio-over-IP from every corner of the world.

    Simultaneous Recording and Transmission
    While fellow journalists just record their material to cut it and send it back to the studio later, you’re On Air with Audio-over-IP / 3G / Wi-Fi and still get your interview recorded as uncompressed audio on an SD Card.

    Easy Backup
    Switch to the other IP line automatically if signal is lost or play back the file from an SD card or USB.
